मुंबई: सीबीएसई आणि आयसीएसई प्रमाणं दहावीच्या परीक्षा रद्द करण्याचा निर्णय राज्य मंत्रिमंडळाच्या बैठकीत निर्णय घेण्यात आल्याची माहिती आरोग्यमंत्री राजेश टोपे यांनी दिली आहे. देशातील सात राज्यांमध्ये परीक्षा स्थगित करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला होता. सीबीएसई आणि आयसीएसईच्या बोर्डाच्या दहावीच्या परीक्षा रद्द करण्यात आल्या आहेत. त्याप्रमाणे महाराष्ट्र राज्यातही दहावीची परीक्षा रद्द करण्याचा निर्णय झाला आहे. बारावीच्या परीक्षा होतील, अशी माहिती राजेश टोपे यांनी दिली.

Given the worsening situation of the #Covid-19 pandemic, the Maharashtra government has now decided to CANCEL the state board exams for class 10th. The health & safety of our students and teachers is our topmost priority.
As the current atmosphere is not conducive to exams, we had earlier postponed our exams while requesting other boards to reschedule theirs. In response to our communication, other boards have now cancelled their exams, so maintaining parity, we have cancelled ours too.
The criterion on the basis of which results will be declared for class 10th & date of result declaration will soon be announced. The School Education Dept is committed to devising a "fair and accurate" assessment criterion.
As far as the state board exams of class 12th are concerned, we have already conveyed our decision to postpone the exams these till May end. The status remains the same. We are closely monitor the health and safety situation in the state.
